International Mountain Museum नेपालका महत्वपूर्ण शैक्षिक तथा पर्यटकीय स्थलहरूमध्ये एक हो, जुन Pokhara मा अवस्थित छ। यो सङ्ग्रहालय हिमाल, पर्वतारोहण इतिहास, र हिमाली संस्कृतिको संरक्षण तथा प्रदर्शनका लागि स्थापना गरिएको हो। यहाँ Mount Everest लगायत विभिन्न हिमालहरूको जानकारी, प्रसिद्ध पर्वतारोहीहरूको उपलब्धि, तथा हिमाली जनजीवनसँग सम्बन्धित सामग्रीहरू प्रदर्शित गरिएको छ। साथै, विभिन्न जातजाति, परम्परा र हिमाली वातावरणबारे विस्तृत जानकारी पाइन्छ। शैक्षिक, सांस्कृतिक र साहसिक ज्ञानको संयोजनका कारण यो सङ्ग्रहालय विद्यार्थी, अनुसन्धानकर्ता तथा पर्यटकहरूका लागि अत्यन्त आकर्षक गन्तव्य बनेको छ।

 

History & Purpose

Established by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), the International Mountain Museum was created to document and preserve the history of mountaineering and mountain culture. Since its opening, it has become a major attraction for climbers, researchers, students, and tourists from around the world.

The museum highlights the challenges, triumphs, and cultural richness connected to mountain life.
